Carara National Park- hiking
This national park is the a transitional zone between the tropical rain forest and tropical dry forest. It is one of the few places where the famous scarlet macaw nest. The park has two trails, which are very easy to walk through.
The reserve is also the habitat for howler and white faced monkeys, white tailed deer, collard peccaries, cuatimundies, rattle, fer-de-lance and boa constrictor snakes, black guans, great egret, turkey vulture, raccoons, lizards, poison dart frogs, iguanas, leaf-cutting ants and many more animals as well as very diverse flora.
A good guide makes all the difference when visiting these parks and reserves.

Manuel Antonio National Park- hiking, & beach
7 kilometers from Quepos harbor, this park is among the most beautiful ones in Costa Rica. White sand beaches, cliffs, observation points, ravines, rainforests, howler, white faced and titi monkeys , these last ones are unique for this national park. Sloths, brown pelicans, white ibis, blue-crowned manakin, fiery-billed aracari and green kingfishers.
Other than the tropical rain forest, there are other habitats such as mangrove swamps, lagoons and littoral woodlands. 19 species of coral, 78 species of fish, 24 species of crustaceans and 10 species of sponges have been identified. Also, would be a good idea to have a guide to visit this park to really take advantage of all the activities that it offers.

This conservation project is located 22 kilometers from Quepos, privately owned.
This project is dedicated to the conservation of the Fila Chonta mountain range on Costa Rica's Pacific Coast. The canopy walk consists of suspended bridges measuring 250 meters. Breath-taking views of the rain forest will capture your total attention. The platforms are attached to hardwood trees. There is also a hiking tour by the river Seco. Waterfalls, morpho butterfies, poison dart frogs and many varieties of birds are what you will be able to experience in this tour.
