Opened in 1999, this 6,707 yard course was designed by Ted Robinson with two things in mind: natural beauty and challenging golf. Magnificent ancient trees come into play testing a shot maker's ability for steering a ball around this most outstanding golf course.

This is the newest golf course in the country, located at one of the most luxurious resorts in the Costa Rica. Los Suenos course; it's all that was expected from Te Robinson Jr. having designed courses through out the world including Shiloe, the site of the 1998 PGA Championship. Ted had given us a course that few in the world can match in natural beauty and challenging golf. It is not uncommon for the guests of Los Suenos Marriot to rest their eyes away from the challenge of the golf course and just gaze up at one of the most picturesque setting on earth, a dense canopy of exotics trees, plants and wildlife.
Bordered by the Pacific Ocean on one side and rain forest on the other makes it difficult to task to concentrate on your golf game. If that isn't enough to distract you then there are a number of magnificent trees that always seemed to be between you and the area of the golf course you'd like to get to.
Over 150 birds, 150 trees, and 100 animals have been identified living in the heavily vegetated area surrounding the golf course at Los Suenos. A variety of native monkeys, tucans, iguanas and pizotes can often be seen on various holes around the course.
The golf course is definitely worth taking more than one shot.
Los Sueños has come up with an idea that works well for every golfer on the course. They have what you would call a forecaddie that accompanies each group. The term guide is appropriate in this case as so much to be seen besides the break of a putt.
